Lager/Pils – “Pure”

“First time Filtration before Fermantation”

Note: Inspired by SMaSH Brews. Single Malt and Single Hop. Only added a little bit of Cara Pils.


Ingredients:

Malt:

  • ~2300g Pilsner
  • ~300g Cara Pils

Hop:

  1. Tettnanger, 4,8% alpha
  2. 4g for 30 min
  3. +6g for 15 min
  4. +8g for 15 min

Yeast:

Saflager W 34/70

Process:

Mashing:

  1. 10 min at 55°C
  2. 45 min at 62°C
  3. 15 min at 67°C
  4. 20 min at 72°C
  5. 78°C mashing out process

Fermentation:

  1. 12-14°C for min. 7 days

Specific gravity: 12°P
Bottle Conditioning17-20°C
